ENTERING AND LEAVING

Entry is through the Zoo’s top main gate and is a scenic stroll down to the outdoor concert stage near Backyard to Bush. Exit is also via the top main gate or if travelling by ferry, you may exit via the Zoo’s lower exit.

ZOO ENTRY/CONCERT TIMINGS

3pm: Free entry into the Zoo to see the attractions for patrons holding a Twilight at Taronga concert ticket for the same day. Please note there will be no access to the concert lawn during this time
5pm: Patrons can start queuing up near the Elephant enclosure
6pm: Concert lawn opens (picnic time)
7:30pm: Concert starts
9:30pm Concert concludes
There will be a 20-minute interval

RESTRICTED ALCOHOL

Due to liquor licensing considerations you are now only permitted to bring in the following alcohol items -1 bottle of wine per 2 people - 6 pack of beer between 4 people. Please note no spirits or RTD’s are permitted at all. There will be a wide range of beer and wine available to be purchased from the concert site at an affordable price. The venue reserves the right to search bags and ask anyone to leave their grounds who is considered to be excessively intoxicated. Bags checks will be conducted for TWC ticket holders commencing at 3pm for those you enter the Zoo early. Entry will be via the right hand side of the entry point at the bottom of the stairs below the Top Plaza retail shop. Please ensure your bags are open and ready for inspection to assist the entry process.

KIDS UNDER 4YRS

Children under 4 years are admitted free. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

WHAT TO BRING

The area for concert-goers is all unreserved picnic style, so picnic blankets are recommended. Personal chairs are welcome but tall director style chairs are restricted to the rear of the lawn. A variety of hot and cold food, espresso coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, confectionary and ice creams are available to purchase at the concert or bring your own picnic.
Taronga Zoo also provide hampers which can be purchased through Ticketek and collected from 6pm on the day of the performance at the BakeHouse (located at the concert lawn).

WHAT NOT TO BRING

No tables, tents, sunshades, umbrellas, BBQ’s, animals (except guide dogs), recording equipment and any alcohol in excess of our restricted level.

CORPORATE HOSPITALITY PACKAGES

ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES

Rydges North Sydney Twilight at Taronga Packages are available from only $334 per couple for Friday Evenings and $364 per couple for Saturday evenings. HOW TO GET THERE

Taronga Zoo is situated on Bradley’s Head Road in Mosman, Sydney.
Parking: Limited car parking is available at Taronga Zoo costing $16 per car.
Ferries: Please check the Sydney Ferries website for departing ferries from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo. A State Transit bus meets all ferries and first stop is the top entrance of the Zoo (STA fee for bus). It is not possible to enter via the lower entrance. Departing ferries from Taronga Zoo to Circular Quay at 9:28pm and 10:28pm on Friday and Saturday night.
Bus: Buses leave from Wynyard bus station and depart from the Zoo’s Main Entrance daily. For timetable information please call 131 500.

You may be filmed/ photographed & footage or images may be used by, replicated, reproduced & published for marketing & promotions purposes. By entering Twilight at Taronga, you consent to being filmed/ photographed

WEATHER

The concert will proceed rain, hail or shine. The stage is fully covered and geared to operate in all weather conditions. The concert lawn however is open-air, so we advise that if you are concerned about the conditions, to please come prepared with wet weather gear, raincoats, ponchos and plastic sheets. Ponchos are also available to purchase from 6pm at the concert. Umbrellas are discouraged as they obstruct the view of the concert for others. A concert would only be cancelled if conditions become unsafe and very extreme at the concert site around the scheduled starting time of the concert. Due to the changeability of weather conditions at this time of year, a decision may be made to delay the start of the concert.

DISABLED FACILITIES

The concert lawn has plenty of space for wheelchairs. Disabled toilets are located at the concert lawn. Please note as the event is held outside on a grassed area the ground can be uneven in places.

ATM’s FACILILITES

There is one ATM located at the top main gate plaza. It is an ANZ bank ATM. Food outlets also have eftpos.

SMOKING

Taronga Zoo is a smoke free venue. However, during the concerts you are allowed to smoke in a designated area near the Backyard to Bush amenities only. Smoking at any other time or location within the zoo is not permitted.

FIRST AID

There will be a first aid area at the event. If medical attention is required, approach security, event staff or first aid so they can help.

Please act responsibly and consider your safety as well as others at all times during the event.

TOILETS

Portable toilets are located near the elephant enclosure and a large toilet block is next to the concert lawn. Disabled toilets are also located next to the concert lawn.

If you lose or find something at the event, please speak to the event staff or security. You can also contact Taronga Zoo on (02) 9969 2777.

PASSOUTS

Passouts are not available.

LOST TICKETS

There is no refund or replacement of lost, stolen tickets, destroyed or not received via post for all tickets.

REFUNDS

Tickets are non refundable except in the case of a concert cancellation or if a concert is abandoned before interval. Tickets are then refundable via Ticketek only. Occasionally changes to the line up or program times occur that are out of the promoter's control. The Promoter reserves the right to change the line-up and/or the date of the event without prior notification.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Promoter and the venue accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the venue. You enter the event at your own risk. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests.
